Summer Mystery Quilt 2008
June 18, July 23, Aug. 20
Wednesday 7 p.m.-9 p.m.

Join us this summer for a fun, light, airy pattern we found at Quilt Market. It measures approx. 75 x 75 and while using only 4 color ways will work great with larger scraps in the same "family". It is also fat quarter friendly!

Cost: $22.00 first class, $15.00 for remaining two. $5.00 if you can't make it to class.

Here at Summerwinds Quilts, we're into having FUN and Bunco has been a big hit  so... we're going to continue through the winter! We'll be playing for fabric and quilt related prizes again, and who knows, maybe some more ugly fabric for the lucky losers!

Cost:  $5.00 plus one fat quarter, per session


Annual CASA Workshop
June 28, 2008 
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Please join us again this year as we make quilts for the kids involved with CASA. We have a new pattern again this year, "Steps of Hope", that is fast, fun and easy.

Cost: $15.00 (includes pattern and lunch)

Apron Workshop
July 19th, 10-4 p.m.

Apron's were EVERYWHERE at Spring Quilt Market, and I bought most of them! You bring the fabric, choose any pattern you want, and leave with a new, CLEAN, and pretty apron! We'll share potluck snacks to keep up our energy!

Cost: $20.00


Portable Workstation Class

July 26th 7-9 p.m.

Cathy and I took this class at Spring Quilt Market- it is so cool! You will leave with a COMPLETED portable pressing, cutting & design workstation! REALLY!

Cost: $15.00, plus a kit fee (at cost). Please pre-register as early as possible


Basics of Quilt Restoration

August 6th, 7-9 p.m.

Do you have an interest in antique quilts? Would you like to learn more about how to preserve them through the art of Quilt Restoration? Then you will want to come to this lecture/workshop and learn how! Instructor Martha Spark is a professional Quilt Restorer and has been in practice for 5 years, both in Colorado and Oregon. Before that, she was the Collections Manager at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum outside Denver, CO. With her extensive background in museums and historic textiles, coupled with the fine art of Restoration, learned from the best in the country, she will give you sound and practical knowledge on the basics of  “Why, When, and How”, through a lively slide lecture and discussion. Many old quilts from her collection will be brought for viewing. You won’t want to miss this workshop!

You are welcome to be on our "reserve" list until we receive your fee, but your space won't be guaranteed until then.
